It's getting close to iRev and my time to get my car figured out is very limited. Adam and Matt gave me some things to check out, but if i can get the car right by Saturday i'll be spectating at the race.

I'm in the same boat. My CAS took a crap on me, and I'm trying to source a master cylinder strong enough to push my twin pistons. I'm thinking I'll just be spectating as well. But I WANT to get some runs in, so a T&T is most likely to happen before any major events...

Ya. Money did not come in like i was planning. Thanks man. Only thing that may hold me up is security clearance. Credit took a nose dive when i left the CG. The job is with Honeywell Aerospace. Its a fantastic job and something that I know about and how to do it. Plus the pay is amazing starting off
 
what sears do you guys plan on meeting at i might come and hangout for a bit depending on where it is at.
 
I'd go if it were at like White Marsh mall or something closer. I just don't trust the car driving that far and frankly don't want to try. I would definitely drive a little closer though.

iREV was pretty fun. I was the only actual DSM competing because of mechanical issues with others cars. Russ in his Barney Mobile looked good and is gonna step it up to beat Tony at WCF he said..haha..
 
Adam, you worry too much LOL. If it can take a beating at the track and still drive fine, I think you'll be fine daily driving it haha.

On a note, not sure if I will be able to make it as ive found out yesterday I have a short that seems to keep blowing my engine fuse as soon as I turn the car to the "on" position. . . So I have to chase it somehow. . .

Will keep everyone posted. . .
 
I hate that damn fuse. My old 2g used to blow them because the o2 sensor was too close to the alt. So I used to carry a spare. One day I just took a screw driver and a hammer and smaked the o2 sensor out of the way, LOL. That was a long time ago when I didn't care.
 
Yeah, I got it started after messing with the CPS and CAS, so I am going to have it towed home (stuck at work LOL) and start taking it apart and diagnose it.

Dam, sorry to hear that. You're way more knowledgable than I am with these cars but if you need any help let me know. I got my passenger front axle seal on today, new sway links (gotta love rusty links) and tie rod ends. Looks like i'll drive her down if all goes well. But again, if you want some help gimme a shout. im on workers comp with a sprained ankle LOL. So i got time
 
Thanks, pretty sure I found it, when I rebuilt my turbo and put it back on, my front o2 wire got crimped between the compressor housing and water pipe. So far so good, so ill try it haha.

Travis, yeah that truck was the best purchase. Can finally do what I want with the talon and not have to worry about finishing LOL. Plus I settle on my house friday, so I am sure it will really come in handy!

Travis, you coming saturday?
