Roll Call:So it seems that a lot of us have been having...issues, with our cars, but most of us are close to having them driveable soon if not already. Since the las meet in hunt valley ended up with most of us not making it, let's have a roll call on what status everyone's car is currently. Also since some of us work on Saturdays, how would a Sunday afternoon meet work for everyone? If we did it early enough, before sun down, we could get some pics. An idea since tuners and link are looking for calendar entry's for the 2013 Dsm calendars.
So post up if your car is drive able or what work it needs and sunday afternoon/ evenings work with your schedule.
ROLL CALL:
Gooberlog: battery arrived yesterday so car should be good shortly. Sunday's good for meet up/cruise
Still needs a new head though
keeps overheating on long highway runs. Also I fianlly got a response back from Honeywell. After weeks of getting paper work filled out and redoing the SF86 twice and waiting for family members to get back to me for info and having to get finger printed for clearance. I start on Monday the 8th!!!!!!!!D1prospect:currently down no motor or trans do to fraudulent shop/owner.wont be showing up in my 2g for awhile until after all the legal matters are sorted.
Damn that sucks, sorry about that bud :/. Hope all goes well in the legal battle!

Holy Fauck D1..That sucks man. I really want to know what the hell happened, but I'm sure you need to keep matters under wraps for legal reasons. If I can help, I will. I'm sure we all will.
ROLL CALL:
91 Talon TSI : Car is actually sitting for MIR parked from IREV.
I took the car out last weekend because I wanted to do some tuning with the race gas , and try out the NLTS. I have not had the chance to do any tuning besides the few times I've been at the track. The bottom line is the car is just to damn loud and aggressive to do pulls of 35psi +.. I have no where to do pulls without risking getting the car impounded and stripped or something, because the cops are DEEP in my area. It looks like the last race will be on the current settings and a prayer.. I will be installing the staging brake, changing the oil, and doing a few odds and ends before I go, but thats it. I'd like to end the season with "0" broken axels or t-cases of possible.
I think a number of us could use a T@T before WCF to work out the bugs and things dialed in. Maybe a Friday night T@T? Or I'm not against cruising on a Sunday to a meet that is CLOSE!! haha Not this Sunday though..Next Sunday I could make it..
Good to be on many many sites
I may be of some help. On one of the other sites im on there is talk of two possible track rentals. One at MIR and the other idk yet. both are 9am to 5pm rentals. The one at MIR may run at 103 via paypal due to not many signing up. The other so far only info is a possible Rental. Its a BMW group. Buddy in Korea is trying to get us in. If you want I can see if I can squeeze ## name into one of them if there is any more info.
Here is some info on the MIR one. The other still pending MIR Track Rental on 10/22/12 - SVTPerformance
## all welcomeGood to be on many many sites

This would be really good for me but I have been missing too much time from work lately. Monday's are the busy work days as well. I was looking at the import vs. domestics race classes and my car doesnt really fit in to any of them so I would like to worry about hitting a test and tune more than racing at I vs. D
Battery is in, fluids topped off, gunna drive my car down the road for the first time since April.
Doesnt fit in any class? 10.0, 10.5, 11.5, 12.5...pick one.
I understand what you are saying though Travis. I'm actually in the same boat. If I run the 10.5 class, Im not going to be able to get any lower to that because my recent personal best is 10.501...haha So I think you are trying to get a new personal best right? Maybe smash the bolt on record? You can't get that if you enter the 11.5 class, and I can't get my new best if I enter the 10.5, so I understand. For me it's not about the money, that can come next season if I want once I know the car. For now it's all about seeing where the car is and getting things consistant, so i really don't care. I refuse to put my foot on the brake to advance to the next round. I did it at IREV and I still lost by a LOT..hahaha..
Think of it like this Travis.. You have at least 5 passes in any index class for the event, which you can use to blow the wheels off that thing. Then maybe slow up one or just use the best pass for the 10.5 and hope for the best. I'm gonna enter either the 10.5 more than likely and try to get a good qualifying pass the first two, then it's 40+ lbs for me... I gotta get closer to that 9.9 before the end of this year.
Hopefully Adam can meet up this week and help me a bit with my SD tune
Man we build these cars to run them whether is drag or everyday driving. Drive ot with no regrets and let'r eat!!!!
