Adam, good choice :). I mean, if you can't trust your own engine you built, then idk LOL. I mean, mine was the first time I built one, but I would not hesitate to race it and drive it that far and drive back (I do however have AAA PLUS, so I am not that worried LOL).

I started to dial in my tune a bit more, got my knock taken care off, now to play with it a bit more for my base tune, then to add meth and start romping the timing back up!

It's not the engine I'm worried about..

It's launching at 7000rpm with stock 20yr old axles and tcase with slicks.

OK well after talking to a few people now about a friday night T@T at Capitol, I guess I'll make a roll call list for this:

Capitol Raceway this Friday night 10/12-

Adam- Still on the fence. I was gonna have Steph come follow down and back, but she has to work. I can't risk this altenator issue being alone. I'll bring the camera regardless.

Just take an extra battery with you that way you can atleast get some where off the road, may even make it home. I've went from randlestown up to hanover PA on a battery.

I don't have another battery and all my wiring is custom for a small PC680..I've been in the position before at Capitol where my altenator went out and I was stuck out there. I think I'm going to try a different grounding scheme from the alt. and see how it works. Right now at WOT, I'm 12.9 which is not ideal. This is a brand new Saturn 105 amp alt... We will see how she is Friday..

Well it looks like Ill be there then. You trying to follow a brother home Travis? I know it's a bit longer for you, but it would make me feel a hell of a lot better that late at night. Would a big juicy Whopper do you?:p

I think I'm gonna try E85 if I can get some. I can't get or afford race gas before WCF.

Capitol Raceway this Friday night 10/12
Gooberlog: still have to switch to E85 fuel and tune but I'll be there racing

Adam S. : Guess I'll head out after I get home Friday..Looking for a 10.49999999999 or 142mph

"GIVE. ME. A. WHOPPER!!"

Talked to Shane and he said if he comes, he will follow you home. Once my wife gets home I can drive my car to burn up the pump gas and do some E85 pulls

Matt and I did some 3rd gear pulls on one of the darkest highways in MD. Car is pulling pretty hard but is pegging the 30psi gauge so it's Atleast 34+ psi. All that is left is to load up the car...still have not gotten my new helmet in the mail yet so hoping it comes tomorrow.

I'll be going just as support. If anyone needs e85 I can stop by the station on the way and pick up 5 gallons, just let me know.

They did a complete resurfacing of the track at capitol, from what i heard she hooks pwetty good now,i'll be there on the side lines as usual.

Redyute1, I'm not sure if you have met any of us ion person, but come and say hello when you see us. We're all friends so we'll most likely be grouped together some what once we all get to the track. I got all loaded up last night with out any issues so I'm good to go. Well unless you call getting a 2WD truck stuck in your front yard with a car on the trailer behind you and tree in front of you an issue. I was considering using my tractor to pull the truck and car and trailer up the driveway, bt I said phuck it and just drove straight towards the tree, Atleast it's a pine tree so most of the branches are soft, really hoping I didn't get any scratches in the dirty laser
