Winnipeg,
hey well my 1995 tsi talon currently right is running 15-16psi... around there. But anyways i'am running a stock boost controller and the stock boost gauge.... think its time too change. ROFL

i know just have no spare money laying around for it...LOL since christmas coming and of course xbox 360... but yea i will start ordering stuff for my car after new years.... I haven't experince any serious problems so yea. Btw keep them coming i want more feedback. Btw can something seriously go wrong if i'am running a stock gauge and a stock boost controller since i'am running pretty high psi? :thumb:

k well i was looking @ the parts catg on dsmtuners and some are pretty expensive. I'am not looking too spend too much on a boost controller or a boost gauge... do i need a electrical or mechanical boost gauge? and what kinda bosst gauge should i get or ones you personally like.

Even a cheap autometer mechanical gauge would be tons better than the factory one.

Don't spend the money on the electric stuff, it's not really needed (at least for boost purposes). Not to mention your financial situation.

Yes. And buy a logger while you're at it.

i have a black faced autometer 0-35 psi boost gauge for sale, listed in the classifieds, although that post might have been deleted from age, but its still for sale, for 40 shipped if you want it....

If you really care that much about it then ditch the XBOX 360 and get a boost gauge and a boost controller. The stock boost gauge is crap and how do you know that you are running around 15-16psi?

LOL, nice advice, ditch the xbox360 and get a gauge and controller

lets see,... xbox 360 core costs 300, the full one costs 400, for your benifit of the doubt lets say hes getting the core,...

a homemade mbc costs 10 bucks, i made one myself with just a 10 dollar bill,

a used boost gauge (like lets say for instance, the one im selling) costs 40 bucks shipped

so your left with 250 bucks, assuming your getting the xbox360 core, with no game...if your going to get a game (my guess is you are) thats an extra 50 bucks, so youll have enough to get xbox360, just not a game, or if your getting two games, just get one... etc etc etc...

i am curious too as to how you know you are running 15-16 psi on your T25 without a boost gauge or controller?

and for reference, a new boost gauge should be item number 1 on your mods list. even if you don't have a mods list.:)

any certain type of brand i should look for a boost gauge and is it okay if i get a mechanical boost controller cuz the electronic ones are kinda expensive

my bad i thought you said mechanical boost gauge, for the controller, just make your own, it cost me 10 bucks to make mine, vfaq has the instructions, along with numerious other sites... and yes the electronic boost controllers are expensive, i say wait until you actually need one or are finished with everything else and just want one...

Scroll to the pics

VDO boost gauge + Install kit = $55.00 +/-

I've had mine for a few years and have never had a problem. Installation took maybe half an hour. But if you're looking to add more gauges later and want to go with a color theme, you might as well go Autometer. They are pretty much the #1 name as far as gauges go.

how are you running 16 psi, on the stock solonoid?
if for some crazy way you were, how do you know that with the mas air gauge / aka boost gauge?

i don't know chrysler dealership did some computer tests and they told me like 13psi or something.... my turbo isn't stock and i have other mods added. The mods are mentioned on my profile
