When do i sinstall my fuel system?

Basically all i want to know is if i should do this before i put in my motor or afterm my motor is installed? I stiil have to buy my cams and exchange my hydraulic tensioner arm out, but once that is done i can assemble the rest of my motor. But should i focus on my fuel system right no and get that set up first?
 
Well injectors are on the motor, fuel pump is in the back of the car, so those two are kind of irrelevant on whether the motor is in the car or not. The AFPR should be mounted somewhere in the engine bay, probably on the firewall, I would wait until after the motor is in to install that. I you're replacing your whole fuel line and fuel filter, I would do that while the motor is out, and it would make sense to do the fuel pump at the same time as that. I guess the injectors depend on if you are going to install your intake manifold and everything on the motor before or after you put the motor in.
 
I would focus on the task at hand.

moving one step at a time and after everything is been done and you have a clear goal. you can start buying fuel system that will support your mods.

Plus if you ran into problems with other issues when assembling/installing the engine, you have money in your pocket to correct the issues.
 
If this is on a new motor that will need broken in, you can do all the fuel mods (as long as fuel pressure remains the same) minus injectors. You do not want to tune while on a new motor as you have potential to wash down the walls which won't allow the rings to seat.
 
I do plan on assebleing the entire motor ouside of the engine bay prior to installation. So your saying i ill have to use the stock injectors with stock fuel pressure? Would i have to turn the boost down than as well? I wanted to install everything outside of the car so it ould be easier. So i ill not have the stock t-25 but a holset h1e. Could i just turn the boost down and use that for the break in? And i planed on finishing the motor before i buy my fuel system, i was just asking should it be installed before my motor.

What LiQUiDx is telling you is that with a new build engine you don't want to run alot of fuel. keep it at stock levels. you can upgrade the pump, (not the injectors) while you add it but keep everything stock level.(you probably need to purchase fuel pressure regulators also).

With alot of fuel in fresh motor, there is higher chance/certainly will wash out the cylinder walls and rings(you don't want that).

Whatever you want to do, it depend on your budget.

But, if you do upgrade your fuel system keep it at stock level.

Ok gotchya. The thing is ill be running a dual pump setup. Idk if it ill be 2 in tank walbro's or what. It depends on whichever one is a simpler install. I have seen tho that their is a new 300 lph fuel pump out. I just havent done much research on it yet. I kno ill need the return lines, fuel filter, afpr, and injectors. As well as my pumps. Is their any full kits available that you all would recommend?
 
How much fuel do you want to flow and at what pressure? I'd suggest you look in to the fancy pumps that have come out recently, you could save a few hundred dollars.
