wheels wont align

i bought my 2g 95 rs n/t dsm already knowing it needed a wheel alignment, but when i took it to get aligned it wouldnt stay aligned! the guy did it 2 times and still nothing. at the time he said it was something with the motor mounts but i think its bs...ever since then ive probably went through 6 or 7 tires (only the front ones) ive looked all over the place trying to see if anyone has had the same problem but not luck yet. however some people said it might be the ball joints or lower control arms. but it was jacked up and nothing seemed to be bent or broken. any HELP ?!?!?!

lift the car shake the front tires back and fourth if they move than its ## ball joints,check to see if their cracked or grease leaking by them

You obviously have something bent or a bad ball joint (lower, upper, or tie rods). Raise car and try to move all the ball joints back and forth as hard as you can. You should not be able to move them. You can also try to move the wheel back and forth (left/right and in/out) with the car on the ground to test loaded case. Also check with dealer to see if the car had the front Ball Joint Lower Lateral Control Arm Recall done (just need VIN) (http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/new...-lower-lateral-control-arm-recall-merged.html).

BUSHINGS. I'd put money on it. You car will not hold alignment nor be adjustable when your bushings are like jello, and at this age most people's are. Ball joints too, but most likely the bushings because ball joints are obvious that even a basic mechanic should notice them (Though that doesn't mean you shouldn't make sure).

The bushings on my 3g were bad and I wasn't holding alignment. Eventually it got so bad (in the rear) that my wheels would turn sideways when I cornered and the trailing arm punched my backing plate so hard is cracked the ceramic off my parking brake shoes.

Yes I agree, the bushings (on upper or lower control arms) may also be the problem.

You can save a lot of $ by adjusting your own front toe with a homemade alignment tool (parts at Home Depot) like the last paragraph here: http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/newbie-forum/338063-my-alignment-page-attached.html#post151879230. well i do hope my mechanic knows what hes doing, he is my bf

im gunna try everything everyone said here this weekend, hopefully it works, ill keep updates. thanks again guys!
