hi i was just wonderin if anyone has purchased any tires and wheel package from WHEELMAX.COM just to let me know how they are in terms of qualitys....i am checkin out their site and it looks like they have decent quality wheels and they have some awesome tires...so any comments...thanks :thumb:

i've got the exel mimi's in gunmetal from wheelmax.com

the packages are good deals but they come with crappy federal tires. and since you'r FWD like me, tires are VITAL to keeping traction. I got the 17" package with 235/45/17 toyo proxe fz4 tires for 1000 bucks. which is decent IMO. the only thing about exel wheels is that the polished lip is ruined after a good amount of winter salt gets on them.

In another thread a dude told me that if you put wax on the rims it'll keep the polished lip resistant to that sort of thing.

but all in all for the price i give wheelmax :thumb: timely shipping and good customer service. they only screwed up once because they only shipped me 12 wheel lugs  oh, and dont use the lugs they give you, they plain suck and will break. go to pepboys and invest in some tuner lug nuts with keys. 40 bucks spent is better than breaking lug nuts and having them chiseled off

wow interesting, well with the winter salt,,, aren't you suppose to change tires and rims to stock or some other kinds for winter....thanks for your opinion

I may bi*** abotut South FL becuase of the fact it could be sunny, nice n hot then it will start to pour. Buttttt we dont have winter = )

i have had 2 friends with bad wheelmax experiences, they didnt get the customer support they wanted, and decided to get a more educated salesman before dropping mad scrilla.

I ordered my 17" Tenzo R Passion 5's from wheelmax and I was very happy with the transaction. It was a few years ago, but I would definately feel confident about ordering from them again. My advice: upsize the tires, the stock combo will give you some very skinny tires (205/40). I now have 225/45 and it rides so much better.
