Where would be the best/cheapest place to find some spacers. Everywhere I look, all the name brand ones are $100 a pair.
My wheels just barely don't line up with the lip of the fender and I want it flush.

I'm just trying to find a place that will be less pricey but not sacrifice materials or quality.

how much sacing are you looking for? the 100 dollar ones are hub centric, you can find some cheap ones that are like 5 or 8 mm. i think RRE has some

dont be fooled with prices.. just because they cost more, doesn;t mesn that they are made out of better materials. I paid like 135 for a set of eibachs 1" wheel adapters for my 1G... while my buddy paid 75 dollars shipped for a set off ebay, when you sat them side by side.. you could not tell a defference between the two, the same exact markings and everything..

the only difference was the boxes and the eibachs came with a sticker.. either it is a 60 dollar sticker or they are ripping ppl off.. you figure out which one it is..:p

If you need more than 10mm, don't do it. RRE even recommends against this. Buy proper fitting wheels.

Some things, I just wouldnt go cheap on; This being one of those things. Try Ichiba, Project Kics, or H&R for spacers.

I am a little bit curious about the wheel spacers thing, i would like to know if i should or even could put bigger spacers on my rear wheels and make them stick out a little bit? i mean i know you want it flush, and mine actually do go flush with the car, but i was just curious if for track reasons which one would be better? i don't wanna do it like as a permanent thing, i just wanna put it on just for picture reasons or maybe even daily driving reasons

I agree. From reading about numerous situations where people have had their tire come lose due to wheel spacers, this part would definitely be one of those things where money wouldn't be an issue.

I'd also like some input from anyone with good experience and knowledge of the awd drivetrain...It is my understanding that all should be well as far as wheel spacers and sizes go as long as you get hubcentric spacers when it comes to wider ones to avoid play, obtain the right length studs depending on how wide you go, and do the right measuring as far as distance from the top-most point of the tire to the fender to avoid rubbing.

My personal question is this, I plan to add rear spacers to my GSX to have a "wider in the back" look. As far as the spacers go I think I have everything researched but what I'd like to get a clear answer on is, will wider tires in the rear with spacers (assuming the tire/wheel combo are the exact same diameter as the front) cause any problems mechanically because the car is AWD?

No, it won't affect the AWD.

Awesome. Thanks for the input. Only problem I ran into now is that, with the combo I found (235/45/17 up front & 265/40/17 in back) have the same diameter but the measurement for the rear tires only come in summer tires.:ohdamn: I think Ill just go 235/45 all around and use rear spacers.

I used a set of 25MM bolt on eBay spacers on both my 04 STi and my 240. While I am not a huge fan of spacers, because I believe they put extra stress on wheel bearings among other parts, I have no complaints about either time I used them. I was quite impressed with the quality of the spacers, being they were "eBay parts"

That style is better, provided you buy extended studs. Better yet? Wheels that fit. ;)

this is getting off the OP but I cant resist. that 350z is f**king retarded. theres no tire on those rims. did you see the back wheel wells how the paint was getting rubbed off. or how the side wall is peeling away from the rim it self. wow. swang and bang needs to have those rubber bands popped.

Looks like about a 30 series tire. It also looks like about a 225-235 stretched to an 11".

That's a 25mm spacer, give or take, so I'm assuming it was junk, or it wasn't properly retorqued after the first 50 miles or so. Note: ASS-U-ME.
