I'm looking into getting a set of 15x7 bassett d-hole wheels and I was wondering, would I be able to use 2 inch (48mm) back spacing on the rims and not contact the calipers?

I highly doubt these will clear. You need a wheel designed for "fwd" cars, such as a Rota Slipstream, to get a 15" wheel to clear 2G brakes.

I'll probably just get some oem steel rims then, I'm looking for something to mount my ET street radials on.

I meant to say oem rims from another car. Sorry about that. Is there any rims that are like bassett's that will fit?

Maybe, but I believe that the most popular, cheap, 15" rim for drag-racing a 2G DSM is the SlipStream. In general, a steelie or steelie-style rim will need to be an inch larger than the smallest cast/forged wheel that clears a car's brakes.
