What's YOUR daily driver?

Attatched is the usual ride if I'm car-less, although my girlfriend's Cavalier gets me around if she's around.

Edit : I DD the Talon 99% of the time.

I need to get a gst thought for a dd for gas mileage! I bought one and put everything on it brand new from tranny and engine to clutch and brakes, and someone offered me good money so I sold it.

VWs have electrical issues, and not cheap to repair (I owned 2, never again.)

You must not have done the wrenching yourself. I've got an '89 golf and it cost me more to redo the headliner than to replace either of the front shocks. The tires are 13", so they're cheap, junkyards are FULL of them, and they run forever. 156k & running as strong as the day she rolled out of mexico. Looks like hell, but it gets about 25 mpg in town on regular.

Almost makes me want to reconsider selling it for a '91 Talon AWD...

;)

Wiring does suck. German electronics as built in Mexico...

I guess I should have specified. MKIII-newer have issues. MKII's don't have anything to really go bad. You can beat them up for days with no consequence LOL.

Yeah, I haven't ever heard anything good about the MKIII's. Except how to put those dashes into a MKII. Those MKII guys are crazy. Whatever the newest VW is, they're cramming that dash into a MKII...

1991 pontiac grand am 2 door. Cheap head unit, eclispe 4 1/2" front speakers, random 3 way rear 6x9's, 300 watt amp, 10" diamond audio subwoofer.

Gutless as hell, but its got a decent stereo and cruise control. Best thing though is I payed $600 for it from my grandma and it's only got 56,000 miles on it :D.

A 1989 Wrangler with over 150K. It's not too bad of a DD, ecept that it's slow, loud, drafty, leaky, rattly, and gets some low numbers in the MPG department.
