Was wondering the same thing. I've seen teeth come off the flywheel from trying to start an already running car, but never seen the started get the boot! Wowzers. What happened?

edit:Oh and to answer your question, junkyard or autozone. It takes 5 minutes to pull the starter, and autozone's will have a lifetime warranty. But then again it blows to have a starter you don't trust is going to work. Check out Conicelli for a new one?

LOL i had a rod poke a hole in the block , knocking the starter off of it.

Okay really, what were you doing to poke a rod through the block in an NT? HIt the rev limiter a lil too much?[/QUOTE]

I pushed the car a bit, but it was probably leaking, oil and i dint know it, i put about 3-4 k miles on it in like a week, im not really sure how many. I checked oil before the trip but not during,,, my mistake :(, and she gave on me .. Its cool tho, just an excuse to rebuild with forged internals and a big turbo :), just so damn costly ...
