whats wrong now!

put a new slave cylinder in my car Saturday because the old one was leaking. drove good for a day then Sunday i go to Autozone to buy a power wire for my amp and came back. everything was fine. start installing my subs but fail. so i put that on hold. then i come out to my car later and start it and its making awful ticking and rattling noises. sounds like its coming from the top of the engine. So i turn it off and check the oil level. all is good. then i give up because its late and leave in my dads car. i come back the next day and my dad said he put oil conditioner in the engine and the noise stopped. so i drive it and now when i push in the clutch the rpms drop to 500 and when im over 2500rpm it vibrates really bad. the next morning its making that noise but no rpm drop. drive it the noise stops and the rpms start dropping again. could someone please help. thanks in advance.

I thought maybe your throwout bearimg went till you said noise from the head. If,you can pull the vc and make sure all your rockers are sittimg in correct spot. Buddys gsx threw a rocker arm for some reason, and made your described noises. Good luck hope it works.

you can also do a compression test and make sure it's not one of your valves.

so where can i get a valve cover gasket tomorrow if i rip it off really fast and how much are they?

Just be sure to put a small dab of RTV on the corners of the gasket and also on the half-moon plug. It should be a full kit with the gasket, spark plug gaskets and the half-moon.

ok, just finished putting everything together. nothing looked bad at all. rocker arms all seemed good. so now what?
