Hey every. Im now officially in the market for a new car (new for me) I am considering the Mitsubichi Eclipse GSX/GST or Eagle Talon TSI. I was wondering if the Eclipse Headlamps fit on the Talon normal since I would like to get the Projector style. ( i dont know is just something about projectors that hooks me ) but that is not a priority thing. Right now i would like to know what car you guys think i should get. Im planing on driving on snow since where i live it snows like a modafk but well i have a truck for the heavy snow. Please someone guide me on this process. Thanks ;)

The Talon's (any year) use the same as Eclipse 95-96. 97-99 Eclipses use diferent headlights.

TSi or GSX. Sounds to me like you care a lot about looks..so I'd say a 95-99 GSX or TSI...awd for the snow. You can put projector headlights in both a Talon and Eclipse. They use the exactly same headlights, anyways.

Get a 2g eclipse (97-99) if you want to get a car that goes furtherest on the "looks_department" if your looking for looks wise. With performance you will want a gsx since you will be in snow.

Projectors (old versions) give horrible lighting according to people that bought them in the past. But here goes another story...

We CANNOT pick your model for you. You must do this and decide what you want. As long as it's turboed and awd you wouldn't have any problems in the snow at all but other than that if you find a different model you like more then pick it up instead. Your question has been answered in this thread as well as 20+ other threads in the Non_Performance section asking the same exact thing. With your next question please search or checkout our tech articles section and you would/could probably find exactly what your looking for.

Yes, I meant year-for-year, they use the exact same ones.

BTW, why are you making what kind of headlights a car has a major deciding factor in it which car to get..?
I am not making my decition on the headlights, is just a curiosity the i had cuz in pictures i have never seen a talon with the aftermarket headlights but if they are clears(the stock ones no yellow mud inside) i will leave them on. About the year i dont know which will be better but i kinda like more the 97 up model. Looks is not my factor either if i find one from an earlier year i would get it but right now im just brainstorming on those two cars, i know i will need all wheel drive for snow and turbo so that lets me with the GSX/TSi AWD. Peace everyone and thanks for replying.

If i didnt look was cuz i had to go to a meting fast and didnt have time to search much but if that is something that people ask alot why not make it a sticky and no more problems. I just had a question and was saying whats up to everyone.

Get a 1G 90-94 TSI or GSX with the 6-bolt engine!!!! Great in the snow. Don't have to worry about crank walk
