It's rotted out with rust big time, the chassis is pretty much done for. Definitely not worth $4k with that much rust, even if it wasn't rusted it might be worth $2-2.5k for a pretty much stock 2g AWD creeping up on 200k miles.

Tree fiddy! Jokes set aside, pretty roughed up on the inside of the engine bay, looks like they didnt just drive it in the snow they also left it in the snow with the hood up and threw salt inside it. My GS is in a similar but not as bad condition, take my advice and run away from that buy. If you try to crack any bolt loose without heat it will snap from the looks of things.

And who knows how neglected the maintenance is, that's the scariest part when buying these cars.

^Agreed
I'd stay away from that for anything other than parts if there's even any useable parts left. If there's that much visible rust in the bay the underside has got to be horrible, I've never even seen rust all the way up the firewall like that.

Thanks so much for the quick response will stay clear of it and keep up the search.
Best of luck man. I don't have the money yet but I've got my heart set on a gsx, I know I'll find the right one when time time is right and so will you if that's what you truly want!

That's a shame because the paint job looks nice. Unfortunately cutting out and welding in new strut towers is a job and a half. Plus, who knows what else you'll find with that much visible rust?
