2G What's it worth?

'98 gst automatic, droptop. 115k. Needs a top, front bumper, driver fender and headlight, waste gate selenoid. Don't know much about any maintence, has some exhaust work. Otherwise stock. A previous owner removed the spoiler in favor of a carbon fiber wrap (moron) but that's here nor there.

What would y guys pay?

I know droptop fwd are less desirable. But I want a vert and don't plan on racing much.

Hard to say, compression test and test drive would be good. If it needs what you say and probably a good timing belt job too, I'd say $1500-2000.

If compression was good, I would say I'd pay 2000

Looks lowered. Check the inside of the tires for negative camber wear. If its lowered without the camber corrected be ready for it to eat up tires, especially on the rear.

But yeah man I'd have to agree that 2k wouldn't be a bad price for it. I seem to find red 2g's at the junkyard all the time so I wouldn't let the body issues be a deal breaker.

1500. Sounds like it needs a lot of cosmetic work. Who knows how good of a health the engine is in.
