whats this, balancer shaft elimitater kit?

I just saw a dsm on ebay that claimed to have the balancer shafts removed with a kit, is this a good thaing? I am building a motor and less weight is always better, so these shafts wont be needed if I have the crank, etc balanced right? or and I asking for trouble? Is anybody here doing this with there engine setup?

They just counter the vibration from the crank, it would not hurt you build, if you get the one off ebay, make sure the part that oil pump is the right size, just mic to find out. There is alot about this on this site also.

The balance shafts make another vibration to counter the crankshaft vibration, so you dont have to feel them.
