Whats the first thing to tune?

So I'm just now starting to use dsmlink. My Mods include 3" exhaust,walbro 255,Aeromotive fpr,2g maf,16g,and 550cc injectors.

Whats the first thing I should start tuning/changing on dsmlink. I'm unsure what to tune,all I know is that 550s and the 2gmaf is a great match. Sould I be changing something with this setup? or should I drive around perfectly fine and do a couple pulls?

First thing is to watch these demos

Second thing is to watch the demos

Lots of key points in there. You want to make sure everything is working fine, not having too high coolant temp or too high intake temp etc. Then you can start making adjustments to get your combinedFT +/- 5% of 0 at idle and cruise.

Then you can tune mafcomp.

Then you can tune fuel.

Then you can tune timing.

Thanks for the reply,so in order to start tuning I have to start doing some pulls if everything is ok,including op temp,and stuff. Right now I only have 150 miles on my rebuild.

No you do not need to do pulls. Just drive around like normal and monitor things.
Watch the demos and also look at 1992 Talon Tsi AWD Project and figure out how to adjust your combinedFT.
Then you can do mafcomp, a few WOT pulls will be needed and a map sensor helps out a lot too. Don't do any pulls until you are broken in though.

Ok thanks for the link! Im just confused by all these adjustments. I didnt want to be running rich with my setup on a rebuild.
