Like it says whats the differnce? besides that aftermarket look better? does stock ported headers really make a differnce? because i found soem stock ported headers for 125 and if its just about the same as aftermaket then i just think i found a great deal!.

Sorry about spelling i cant use spell cheak because im at school and the school blocks outside programs like that.

Well depends on how much they are ported. The 2gs manis flow quite well and well if you port to much then you are prone to cracking. If you are buying a used ported head I would check to see if there are any cracks in it to begin with. If done properly then you shouldnt have to worry but you never know. I love my fp mani though and wouldnt trade it for anything (well maybe for like a t3 squid).

Turbo cars use turbo manifolds, headers are on N/T applications. That aside, people will port out OEM manifolds because it's cheaper than buying an aftermarket one and it's still stock or stock looking. Aftermarket ones are usually better flowing all the way through and have larger runners assuming you stick with a cast manifold. The ERL manifold is a tubular design for better flow but is all cast for strength. The FP Race manifold is more affordable, all cast and has better flow over the stock manifold or Evo3 manifold that people sometimes swap as well.

the ported manifold i saw on DSM classifids so i cant really cheak for cracks i can only assume the seller is trust worthy

you are going to be better off with a decent aftermarket manifold. The ebay ones like SS auto chrome or whatever that brand is, is not worth the money. In some applications its cheaper to just port the stock manifolds but your not going to get the same performance as an aftermarket set. In the long run its best to just spend the money once and get an aftermarket set, instead of porting a set then later buying aftermarket.

I would ask for some pictures and not jump into anything. Pictures of the port work, ask if he noticed any cracks, Pictures of the runners and collector. Look for discoloration on the manifold. Cracks will appear black.
