Whats the differance between a 6bolt and 7 bolt?

Ok, can anyone tell me the difference between a 6bolt and 7bolt. I blew my engine and would like to know if I can do a straight swap from a 7 bolt 4g63 to a 6 bolt 4g63? if it is possible, what modifications are nec? and is it a wise idea to do this swap? Please give me all you got on this matter.

a 6bolt has 6 bolts holding the flywheel on, a 7 bolt has 7.


reserch it. many people have done this.
