well......i got my car(92 talon tsi awd) sunday, test drove it, it drove fine, only had a small grind into 3rd which didnt seem major. drove about an hour home, not ragging on the car, or boosting it too hard. car has been sitting since yesterday morning. got stuck at a gas station with a puddle of brake fluid under car from slave cyl. limped it home in 2nd gear. went to replace slave cyl today, the bolt for the line to slave cyl was loose. after bleeding line, car still wont go into gear. while bleeding the line, the whole transmission moves left to right when the pushed. nothing else i could tell moves, so 3 days of owning the car, been down 2. hopefully the bolts from tranny to block are loose. if not guess its my first experience pulling the awd components. hopefully this is not a sign of whats to come with this car.
 
Had my new addition least then a week. Previous owner was going to junk it. Told me jokingly if I can start it. I can keep it. Fuse box caught on fire. Replace fuse box started car and drove away. Car overheat due to waterpump. Replaced waterpump and timing belt. Started up today, coolant in cylinder. Here I come 4g64 dohc swap.

Bought it three hours away. On my way home kept slipping out of fifth so had to ride in fourth all the way home. Misfires on cylindar three. Had a ton of rigged stuff to fix. Then right after I fix everything a van backed on top of my Hood in reverse at a stop light. Then on my way home from the body shop they never filled the radiator
 
Traded an old gran Cherokee for a 90 gst. That night the car was read ended and totaled. Owned it 6 hours
 
My first talon 95 esi while driving it home the night i bought it happy as can be it was my first dsm, the throttle got stuck i panicked as the speedo began to rise and the rpm's were at 8000 being reved higher and higher, after 20 seconds of panicking i shut the car off.
 
i was driving form Colorado to North Dakota just got the engine finished had about 600miles on her, then the trans decides to give out about 150 miles form where i was going to go. Now im stuck in billings mt tell Friday, well they fix the trans and the crank case piston sensor.
 
After buying my 92 tsi about 1 week later i got it running after it was sitting in the driveway of the previous owner for 3 years. So after about 2 weeks i t needed another bath so im washing it at my buddy's house he decides to clean up my engine bay a little. Needless to say it needed it badly. Well anyways while im washing the black soot of the rear bumper. I dont see him pouring powdered bleach and apple scented dish soap all over my engine then he douses it with water. (repair list: cam angle sensor, spark plugs, plug wires, and coils). It took me another 2 weeks to get enough money to buy all the parts (new).

In April 2011 turning left in a intersection the passenger lateral control arm ball joint broke at the knuckle and the CV Axle snapped :banghead::(:notgood:
 
I traded my 2000 eclipse RS auto. For my current 95 RS stick I learned to drive stick in the 95, i first got screwed by the guy i was trading said it specifically had the following: FORGED PISTONS, CROWER CAMS, STAGE 2 CLUTCH, STUDED HEAD,something was fishy about this guy so i googled his username to find out later on some form he was on that his car was all STOCK. The second time i got screwd with the same guy is while i was driving on my way to a meet with several other dsm's that were trying to get me to race them, i didnt because i had my son in the car at the time going about 70mph speed limit was 65mph and the driverside tie rod gave out, spun out on the freeway spinning into a off ramp exit and stopped in the middle of the ramp, hit nothing at all started her up to try to get out the way of other cars finding out i couldnt drive straight or anyway i turned the wheel quickly got my son out of the car and went down the ramp to get help and i got a ticket for "wreckless driving" (CHP saw the whole thing) good thing other dsmrs stayed with me and backed up my story. Everything straighnted out in court. Even though it was clearly an accident, overall everyone one was ok but my "ladybug" (my 95) messed up my rotor, axle, fender, and loss my bent rim.
 
Bought a 92 eclipse 5 speed n/t for a steal (or so I thought!) had a little rear end damage but it didn't look to bad. So I drove it home and looked at what was all messed up, crawled under neath it and glanced at the brand new exhaust and noticed the frame was badly damaged!.......SHIT. So it was either spend 800 to 1500 fixing the frame and hope nothing else goes wrong or go get a free AWD talon shell, naturally I went with the shell.

So now I'm pulling the whole interior and engine and swapping it into the awd talon shell I got for free.
 
Bought a 95 gst that was in rough shape. Got it running great. Finished interior, did some body mods. Painted pearl blue looking awesome and my 19yo. Crashes it. WTF.
 
Bought my 98 gst almost a 7 months ago. One day iTurned the engine, drive it for 15 minutes, (i was happy with him because it was working great) traffic conditions high on the city, all of the sudden i se black smoke escaping from the hood, i stop quickly and MY CAR WAS ON FIRE small fire at the top of the inlet high pressure hose that goes to the TB the one with an S like shape near the battery, that hose got a little burned, the position camshaft sensor got burned and the accelerator cable and cruise got burned, 1 month stopped because here in Argentina there is no accelerator cable... Anyway, im not sure what happened the electrician said there was an electrical short mass...
I was so disapointed AN ECLIPSE CANNOT BE ON THAT CONDITIONS PER CRIST SAKE!!! u fu.....g previous owner that has no respect for such beautiness
 
my car was sitting at home because i need to fix the radiator hose, and i was only at school until 11am then came home half my bumper was on the ground and my exhaust was hanging too, someone tried to steal my parts and also i live out in the woods haha. second, i went into to town to stay at my cousins for the weekend parked the car in the backyard so we could work on it, next morning had scratch marks all over saying F*** you on the side of the doors and my headgasket blew that day.

Must have been haters, but thing is my car wasnt even that fast mostly stock id be lucky to run 13's on a good day in it, i just dont see why people would do that, when i first got it it was one of the cleanest in the city, then after all that stuff that happend... It was a sad story...
 
My Drivers front control arm collapsed casuing serious rebuild of the left side of the engine. Went really well car is running great.
