Ok, I went to start my car the other day and it cranked, but never fired. I busted out the timming light and I had no spark. I removed the coil pack to test and got way confused . My car is definatly a 90, due to the fact that every other thing I've replaced on the car has has the 90 attributes. Like the transmition, transfercase, oil cooler, ecu. Every thing on my car has the 90 traits...except this. The 90's have a 3 plug ignition coil right???? Well what the hell is up with this. I tested it as a 91 coil and it failed. Primary resistance between 3 and 2 is 1.6 ohm and between 3 and 1 is .6 ohm. Both 90 and 91 specifications are between .77 and .95 ohm. I need to replace the coils and possibly the Tacho interface thingy majober (as my tach was compleatly freaking out and not working when the car was somewhat running), but I'm not sure as to what coil packl to try and find to replace it with. Anyone know?

Wait a tick... I'm an idiot. It ISSS a 90 coil. Wow, what was I smokeing. I retested it and both primary and secondary resistances are within specifications. WTF!!! Now Im wondering if the reason why my tach is being retarted is because of the "tacho interface".
