I Have a 1997 Mitsubishi eclipse GS-T, Already have Injen intake and turbo Manifold, what would u guys get next beside's turbo? can't offord injecter's, walbro pump ect..

I'd probably get a 3" exhaust. My friend Mike has a full megan set up for like $450. Is it a 1g or 2g? A boost guage would be a good idea either way, and if its a 1g I would get a MBC. You should be able to do that for $600

BTW, $600 should do you for injectors, fuel pump, and AFPR but I wouldnt get that stuff until a little later.

I would consider a good clutch/flywheel combo, but that's only because I'm in dire need of one right now. :)

Or invest in a datalogger of some sort. Actually there are about a hundred things I would buy with $600. :)

I would say go to a local muffler shop, and get a custom turboback, or catback, aftermarket boost gauge, 1G BOV, and a datalogger. If you have any money left over, maybe get an upper intercooler pipe

You could Paypal the $600 to me and I'll mail you an almost new set of FIC 650cc injectors (500 miles on them), GM MAFT Ver. 2.02 for 2G and a 3' GM mas I'll even through in a Walbro 190 fuel pump.

hrmmmm Turbo back is probably good... you have a T2small so meh injectors and fuel isnt really gonna help you... so I say turbo back is the best for your money right now...

Save it cause you live in Cali and when you go to buy a home or rent you're going to wish you had.

LOL Yea I would if I were him...

But to answer the question, get exhaust work done. Its a good place to start. There's no tuning involved and gives you more power throughout the power band. In fact, it widens your powerband :thumb: .

With 600 dollars I believe I would go to a reputable muffler shop and have them make me a 3" exhaust pipe for about 120 dollars. I would also get a Greddy Type-RS Blow Off Valve and that would cost roughly 160 dollars. Next I would purchase a Apexi N1 muffler and thats about 100 dollars. With the rest I would get what you already have which is a good intake.

Just bought DSMlink for $530 shipped. I would recommend DSMlink, but you'll probably benefit more right now with an upgraded turboback exhaust and a pocketlogger to monitor the stats of your car. You don't have enough to get DSMlink and a socketed '95 eprom ecu. Maybe you can find a deal somewhere?

definetly get an exhaust i had a custom exhaust made and i can feel the difference but i also cut out the cat and ran straight back

get a 3" catback made at a local exhaust shop, and get a turbo style(obx) muffler off ebay and have the muffler shop use that. i think i got my OBX Apexi N1 knockoff for 40 bucks. sounds the same and is cheaper, and unless you tell anyone, nobody is the wiser.

then if you got money left over, get a upper IC pipe with a better BOV, greddy, 1g, hks whatever.

then if you dont have one, get a boost gauge.

cause then you can get a boost controller(manual ball-springs for 10$ on ebay) and turn the boost up. even on a t25, it can make quite a difference. i wouldnt go past 16psi without a logger to make sure everythings running fine.

also, look into a fuel pump rewiring kit and look up the writeup for it on VFAQ. thall let the pump flow a bit more fuel in the uppers. or you can just save 90 bucks and go straight to a 190, but if you go with a 255lph pump youll need a aeromotive FPR, and thats gonna cost and put you well over budget. just stick with the rewire for now.

thanks for all the advice guys gladly appriciate it, im a newb so if i were to get a MBC will it tell you how much PSI you wana put out or you have to guess? can i get a boost gauge and run it from my stock t25?

well when you get a MBC you will need to get a boost gauge in order to know what psi you are running. and yes you can run a boost gauge with your t25. and when you buy your BOOST gauge buy a mechanical gauge. if you need direcetions on how to install the boost gauge, i can supply them for you and theres a write up on it as well on vfaq if you need it.

For a T25, I wouldn't go over 16 psi. Over that much and you can kiss your turbo goodbye quite fast. I'd stick around 15 psi for that turbo.
