What would be best to invest in to vent my bov to atmosphere?

I'm looking into buying a MAF Translator and a GM MAF Sensor to vent my bov to atmosphere.

I had my bov vented and it ran like crap so i'm looking into these. Are these the best choice?

I'm on a sorta small budget so don't tell me to go get a DSMlink or anything.

As others have already said, if you're looking for a cheap alternative (or "investment", as you say) for a vented compressor bypass valve, you should look into getting yourself a recirculation hose. You can find one at places like NAPA, Car Quest, Autozone, etc. You yourself admitted the car "ran like crap" when venting when the appropriate provisions are not in place, so your plan is to spend possibly hundreds of dollars just so you can vent. That sounds like a great idea, especially if you're on a budget.

Do yourself a favor and listen to the advice some of us are giving you. We're trying to help.
