Ok, the dilemna is that i want a loud arse BOV like the HKS ss i heard on an Mpeg, but i also want it to recirculate cause im pretty sure my car will run wayyyy to rich if i went it to the atomosphere. so, what kind of BOV is gonna give me loud ass/tight bov sounds without having to vent to the atmosphere?

on a side note, if i do vent to the atmosphere, i would have to redo the mas right?

ON A SCALE FROM 1 - 10
(10) My friend has a tial vented (obviously) and it is LOUD (10) ....
I have had the following on my 2G: (with sunroof  )

(1) Stock 2G BOV recirc. with stock snorkel and internal dump tube= barely audible BOV, quiet, but audible spooling sound

(7) Stock 2G BOV recirc. with Injen snorkel and filter = pretty loud BOV sound and loud spooling sound

(4) Stock 1G BOV recirc. with Injen snorkel and filter = Audible, but not near as loud as 1G - still loud spooling sound

Here is my past experience with the BOV noise level (from past to present setup):

Stock 2G BOV on stock intake piping w/cone filter --- I noticed the BOV being the loudest with this setup (I figured because of the dumptube on the intake piping) it had a nice sound to it. Sort of like the Type-S.

Stock 2G BOV w/ Dejontool 2 3/4" intake and cone filter --- Expected a louder BOV noise but I got a louder spool-up. BOV noise developed into a puff of air instead of a sort of chirping noise (decibels decreased quite a bit).

Stock 1G BOV w/ Dejontool 2 3/4" intake, Dejontool Upper IC Pipe, Dejontool TB Elbow, and cone filter --- BOV noise was pretty much the same, spool-up is loud at about half-throttle (after that it is drowned out by my exhaust).

*EDIT* Oh yeah all of the setups were recirculated. I'm thinking of buying a Greddy Type-S and using the 1G flange, of course I would recirculate but I'm curious as to how the Type-S sounds recirculated on 2Gs w/Dejontool or Injen intake pipes. Except for the cheapest Dejontool intake pipe for the 2G, it just replaces part of the stocker.
