What used car to buy

I haven't visitied this forum in a long time, but now it has come around time to buying a used car. Now I know I can't possibly get a DSM unless its in prime condition and under 5,000 bucks so does anyone have any suggestions? I thought Civic but just about everybody has one and I wnt something different but also reliable and cost effective.

You can get a pretty nice DSM for 5k.
I sold a mint 98 talon tsi a/t for 6k with only 50k miles on it.
I'm sure if you added either a year or 2.. or some miles you could get one for 5k

Patience dude, the car you desire will definately show up. You're not asking too much at all. Just have some patience. Remember, waiting a month, will make you happy for the next 3 or more years you own your car.
