What Turbos are these??

Just got done doing an engine swap. Wondering if i am correct in saying that the one on the left is a small 16G and the one on the right is a 14b. Any help would be appreciated.

i know the right is a 14B and the leftis a 16G...i just dont know what kind it is. There is a way to tell by the number on the comp housing, i just dont remember

I have a 16g turbo on my car and was not sure whether it was a large or small but now I think it is small cause that certainly looks bigger

How exactly does it look bigger? They both have the same compressor and exhaust housing? The difference between the 14b and 16g is the obviously compressor wheel. Also the 14b has a 6cm housing instead of a 7cm like the 16g's. Other than that the only way to tell the difference between a big and small 16g is to measure the compressor wheel.

16g's are 6 cm turbine housings too...but most people get them ported to 7 cm.

not true, the MHI evo 3 16G I got is 7cm. I've also seen some B16G's come with 7cm's as well
