Ok, I have a 90 Tsi with fresh rebuild; new stock internals, rebuilt head with 3 angle valve job, custom t3/t4 header, t3/t4 turbo(may be getting ball bearing turbo), clutchnet 6 puck, used tranny(i know im lookin for problems)but with syncromesh, all synthetic fluid, every thing else is stock. Help me out guys, I have no idea what kind of tuning devices I need. I have 1800* egt guage and boost guage, also fuel pressure but havent installed since the car is in the shop(I havent legally driven it since I bought it a year ago!!!!!!!!!!!!   I have a decent job( is $1000/month good for a 17 year old????) but I need to start saving(thats what my dad keeps telling me  ) Anyway, Ive been thinkin bout ems but for the $ and being I have stock internals(for now anyway) I have been checking out gm translator(it looks like a lot of fun) but is there anything comparable in price but has better tuning ability??????? Sorry for the long thread!
