What to use to fix leak on fmic?

I have a few smale holes on my fmic. What is a good apoxy to use? I dont have a welder. Im running 30 psi.

Apoxy is gonna have a heck of a time holding 30 lbs. Take it somewhere.

What turbo are you using?

I had my mechanic use aluminum apoxy on my POS SBR fmic. The whole core had leaks all over it, which they wouldn't fix. Anyway, he microdrilled little grooves around the leaks to more apoxy could be put in. Pressure tested to 20psi and it's holding.

My freinds dad owns a radiator shop. I brought him an intercooler with a leak and he used what looked like black silicone to patch it. It pressure tested to 30 psi with no trouble. I'll ask him what he used to be sure and get back to you.

That was my reasoning, it's not the actual product withstanding 30 psi, it's the product adhering to the core. With the above or similar technique, it seems posssible. Give it a shot.

I've been wondering the same thing for some of my shittier welds on my intercooler piping. Pin hole leaks may not leak much, but they add up.

Epoxy putty will be easier to work on the IC than JB Weld. Just follow the usual warnings about getting the surface clean.
