2G What to look for when buying a Turbo 2G? (merged)

i currently own a honda civic w/ a jdm b16 in it. this weekend im goin to look at a 99 gst. i have a question. i was wonderng what to look at on the car to check for problem. this will b my first turbo charged car. if u guys could tell me what to look at to make sure the car is in good condition. thanks

maybe HE wants a 4g63

That's not out of the question turning it into a 4g63 aka gst he can keep the 2.4 and boost it like i did or change the head to DOHC for a 2.4l stroker or just drop the entire engine for a 6 bolt its all pretty much bolt in same as a gst the spyder was blessed for this instead of a 420a were you pretty much cut the car in half to convert to 4g63.


And OP if that's really all that's wrong with it i would keep it and swap to manual if you want, if you look at it the way i do a spyder shell no matter if its non turbo is still a gst with a different engine and harness.
