i bought a 95 gst, took the motor out (still ran great) to try to acheive 500 hp,i bought eagle rods, weisco pistons, gtr35 turbo, intercooler, dsmlink w/ eprom, 850cc injectors, 255 walbro, lightened flywheel, act 2900,and everything for the head,...
now after 4,000 into motor parts, i find a gsx in vermont, its gutted but he has everything to put it back together, less the motor. i bought it for 700.00
my questions are:?
should i return my pistons and get the stroker pistons to build the 2.3? ( slowboys told me not to do stroker in my fwd due to traction, )
or should i stay with 2.0?
what should i look for as far as the trans and tranfer case goes?

is the 35gtr albe to handle 500 hp? or what would be a good choice turbo and manifold?
please help me

if you have the parts stick with the 2.0, you can rev it out higher and if you have a built head it will put the power higher anyways. What cams are you planning on running. The 35 should be enough but you might want to look at bigger injectors. if you can spend big bucks get the shearer manifold. If you go fp gt35r, get the fp mani. I would look into a smim also

i have hks 272,s right now but what should i go with? and what size injectors? what is a smim?

Sheetmetal Intake Manifold.
Some pretty good brands are JMFabrications and Magnus Motorsports.

I would look into 1000cc injectors, or even 1600cc's. if you stay 2.0, I personally would get everything balanced and then get some 280's, they will help pull alot higher numbers if your revving out to 8-8500 rpms. The smim like the newer revised magnus will help alot at those high rpms also
