alright guys im running a evo3 16g, evo 3 manifold, ported o2 housing, have intake, 3 inch catback, uicp, 1g bov. im running stock boost 11 psi no spike at all. well last night i put my 3 in downpipe and it would spike to 20 at wooh not hitting fuel hit so that good?i have stock fuel system for right now but i have a evo 9 fuel pump laying around but nothing to tune with. so should i get dsmlink first then injectors, second fmic or head job? i have a stock 7 bolt so i dont know if it can handle that much boost

16g's are known for boost control issues. No fuel cut isn't always good. Just hook the wastegate directly to a boost source so you don't run too much boost. Next get your EVO9 fuel pump installed. Then read up on tuning with your stock ECU. http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/tuning-engine-management/347070-ceddymod-v1-ecuflash.html & http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/tun...first-flashed-dsm-ecu-98-99-flashing-faq.html No need to buy DSMLink when you already have it basically. Just need to buy the Tactrix 2.0 cable. Then get some upgraded injectors along with a wideband and a front mount intercooler.

so this ecuflash thing. all i need is a cable and laptop? where do i get the software?
im a noob when it comes to tuning thats why i was gonna go with dsmlink cause it seems more user friendly

Read the links thoroughly. It explains it all. How to check to see if you can flash, how to set it up. Everything. ECUFlash to flash and EVOScan to log. $25.00 is all it costs.
