Im using my old oil line, but obviously my banjo bolt doesn't go in. What is the inner thread size on a turbonetics turbo (through AGP) so I can make my own?

I think the problem is finding someone who sells those. Any clue?92awddsm said:The thread pitch on the garret oil feed is 1/8 npt. If you are using a stock feed line, you wont be able to get a banjo bolt with that pitch. If it is a braided line, you can get a 1/8 npt- #4an 90* fitting that will work. All you have to do is unscrew the banjo fitting from the line and then just connet it to the new fitting
WTF Both of my Garrett CHRA's have a 1/4" NPT oil inlet.... 1/8" is small - that's what most gauges are threaded for.....92awddsm said:The thread pitch on the garret oil feed is 1/8 npt. That's very weird.... I checked mine yesterday, and it is definitely 1/4" NPT. Here's the write-up I did with the fitting that screws into the CHRA. It is the 1/4" to 4AN fitting....92awddsm said:You might want to recheck that. Last 5 garrett turbos Ive had have all been 1/8" npt, including my current pte.
Look at these specs(dimensions) from turbonetics. http://www.turboneticsinc.com/turbo_dimensions.htm

So, it looks like it could be either one.
For anybody still wondering, measure the oil inlet of your CHRA with a set of dial calipers. If you measure approximately .360 then it is the 1/8" NPT fitting. If it is closer to .460, then get the 1/4" NPT fitting.
