My buddy has a 92 tsi awd automatic is looking to get upgraded injectors and a walbro, but he doesn't know what size on either to get.. He doesn't want to run too rich or lean so what do you guys say? His mods are as followed:

Big16G turbo
EvoIII Manifold
Manual Cams
3"downpipe no CAT
Some basic free mods

like SAFC or something

550's are worthless. They are not enough injector for a big 16g. I max my 550's out at 17 psi with stock fuel pressure on a big 16g with 11.5:1 a/f. Skip the 190 fuel pump, get a 255 or a supra pump. It leaves you with options later on down the road and there aren't any disadvantages to running it.

We just got a boost gauge installed today, He's waitin to get the boost controller till after he's got the A/F ratio set okay.

What did I miss? How is he setting the a/f? Does he already have an SAFC?
I would go with 650cc inj's/AFPR/MAF-T and a Walbro 255.

The guy running '11.5:1 a/f.' is GVR4592. The guy wanting to get injectors/pump is Slack_r

A 190 pump is enough for a EVO3 16G turbo, and since your turbo is smaller, I see no reason for a 255. People max out on the 550s on the evo turbo and get the 660s. If you want to have some headroom for fuel, get the 660s.

IF you plan on going with a slightly bigger turbo later, I agree with people on here 660ccs with AFPR and 255 pump.
