1G What size (how many rows) oil cooler?

Any road racers here?

I just purchased a Talon 1G with a 16G Turbo, a stock BOV, etc. I am slowly converting it over to my needs which will be used as an autocross car and road racer for HPDE events.

I do understand that turbos produce an inordinate amount of heat under prolonged racing conditions, not so much in autocross but in all out 30 minute HPDE events and perhaps endurance racing of 8 to 12 to 24 hours, what would be the best sized EARLS or RUSSELL oil cooler to use? ie: How many rows? and physical dimensions LXWXH

I run the setrab one (13"x7") .. If your doing a lot of track time grab a p/s cooler too (cheap n easy)

I road race my Big ass SRT8, I use a PS cooler that's a finned tube, 24 inches long in line with the 6"x18" cooler that comes with the car. In addition to the other coolers, tranny and oil coolers.

I run a 34 row in the drivers side air duct and it does a pretty good job for track days with ~600hp. Good ducting is essential though.

Thanks, was eyeballing this one too. Not pushing that kind of horsepower, but things change so overkill is never too much!!

I'm running the oem thermostatic filter housing and temps are never below 90c at light load.
The matching stock '90 oil cooler got repurposed to transmission cooling duties on the passenger side.
