Hello,

I just ordered a new oil cooler for my car. I got the Earls-Temp-A-Cure 19-Row Narrow Oil Cooler 5-7/8'' Body Height. This one: (http://www.jegs.com/i/Earls/361/21900/10002/-1?parentProductId=1675460#moreDetails)

Anyways, I'm curious what size oil coolers others are running on their cars. I have a GT35R turbo and plan to push 500+ HP. I would like to be able to take my car to the road track without major issues. However I usually just street drive my car 99% of the time.

I followed this tech article and went with the size they recommended. http://www.dsmtuners.com/threads/2g-external-oil-cooler-install.271069/

When I received the oil cooler today it looks a little small... Just curious if I should return it and go bigger or will be fine.

Thank you

Thank you! That helps a lot. It looks like Setrab is calling for at least 50,000+ BTU's for 500HP+.

I found the Earls guide which only shows BTU ratings for their coolers. http://documents.holley.com/catalog_earls.pdf

The cooler I bought is only 18,240 BTU's. Looks like I need to exchange and go bigger. Good thing I haven't installed the cooler yet. These parts are not cheap.
