What size are the bolts that bolt the trans to the block?

Well, i feel like the trans bolts are longer than 40mm. Is it a sure thing that they're only 40mm?? M10 x 1.25 x 40mm

also how many do i need?

There are several bolts that attach the tranny to the block and they're not all the same diameter and length. So the question "how long are the trans bolts" is not really a valid question.

there are 2 40mm x 1.25, 1 43.5mm x 1.25, and 1 m8 x 1.25 x 60mm. I was confused because i felt that the bolts were longer
