What size are the head bolts????

OK I took the valve cover off took the turbo bolts out of the top of the manifold gonna work on getting the bottom bolts of the maifolld out tomorrow.

Most people have told me to just leave the Intake manifold on when taking the head off but what size is the bolts on the head what size hex head socket do I need to take them off?

if i aint mistaken they are a 14mm try that......anyone agree??

OK so according to him its a 14mm is he right or does someone else have a different opion

i am almost 100% certain i am right just grab a handful of metric sockets and test them but i am sure i am right

I just did a valve job on my car and I am a 100% they were 10mm hex. for my 92 Laser RS N/T

they are 10mm hex 100% also

you know what i would say we r all wrong including myself......perhaps

but i do have a slight question why would they be a 10mm ??? that dont even seem right

according to mine and i just went and verified it for myself (i went and tore my valve covers off of both of my DSMs) they are a torque bit what size that i am not sure of but on a 2.0 and a 1.8 they r the same bolts well thats on mine

1g's have a 10mm hex bolt (allen wrench).
