I just bought my car recently, and it came with an S-AFC. It doesn't have any other tuning devices. The previous owner said the car is set in "winter mode" right now. I haven't messed with any settings yet. The car is running very rich, and my gas mileage is horrible!

What should I do, as far as adjusting my S-AFC settings?

Here are my mods:
3" turboback
Walbro 255hp
UICP
LICP
EBC@ 15 psi
Greddy type-s (vented until I can find a tube that will fit)

Stock injectors, stock fpr.

Is there anything I can do? I'd like to get my car running as good as possible, and have normal gas mileage.

I would just set all the correction values to zero for now if you have no way to tune. you're probably running rich from the combination of the 255lph hi pressure fuel pump and stock fuel pressure regulator

Set the afc to Zero with stock injectors and pick yourself up a datalogger. I doubt that your horrible gas milage is due to the afc settings as you most likely don't drive around at WOT all the time and the low settings have to be very far off to effect milage. While in closed loop the ecu makes adjustments on its own for a/f.

If you milage is that bad look into the condition of your O2 sensor first.

My MAF is also hacked, does that affect anything?

Good answer.

No logger, no tuning.

Yes, a hacked MAF will "change things".

To get your car under control you will have to invest in a new FPR as well as a datalogger, to see a major improvement on fuel correction.

Hacks without a flapper typically cause the car to run leaner by letting in more unmetered air.
