So I just got a brand new painted oem bumper and I am wondering which I should install first: The headlights or the bumper. I know that If I put the bumper on first that I wont be able to get that bottom mounting bolt as easy. I am thinking that I can get an air ratchet up there to tighten it because I can get a socket and wrench on it but I cant really move around.

I am just looking for some feedback on which to do first and if anybody has some first hand feedback on this that would be great. Thanks.

The headlights always go on first and come off last if you want to do it the way it was factory assembled. Most people try to remove and install only the bumper skin and that is not the correct way to do it. When you do it correctly there is no "hidden" bolt to worry about.

If you have no front support due to FMIC or other prior owner mods then this may differ for you but check out the website first and understand why some many people argue about this.

This is how an OEM bumper should be removed. Bumper skin and front support all in one assembly.

Thanks. I was wondering what would be better pretaining to if you think that putting in my headlights last would scratch my paint on the bumper allready intstalled. ### do you think?

Don't try to put your headlights on after the bumper is on. The headlights go on first.
