What rpm does an evo or t28 start to boost?

Right now with my setup with stock t25 turbo, if I go wide open in 3rd I start to build positive boost at about 1,500 rpms. After 1,700 rpms it really starts to build boost.

Just wonder how big the difference in spool is between the t25, t28, and evo 16G. Thanks.

why do you need boost boost before 2k(or even before 3k)?

A t28 should spool similar to the t25, and the evo 16g will spool a little later. Full boost right after 3k.

i hit 17psi on my b16g at 2800 or so rpms

I was looking into this as a possible upgrade to my 16G, however it's quite expensive when you add on the 90 degree elbow and internal wastegate on top of the secondary oil filter you will need to put in place before the feed of the turbo. I'm sure with some tweaking and a tubular manifold perhaps you could cut that under 3k...
