I want to know what PSI is ok to run around on the street for an everyday driving car witht he EVO III 16g. I have only an upgraded 255lph fuel pump. What PSI is alright for running on the street?

Depends on what you can tune for, in addition what octane gas you can get. Some people can run 15-17 and some people can run 20.

You need a FMIC and larger injectors. You cant run much on the Evo III with the stock sidemount.

AS quoted from RRE's site it is all based on what injector size you have and the octane level in your gas follow the link http://www.roadraceengineering.com/eclfuel.htm under the heading RRE's Injector Chooser Assistant
With 660 injectors and 94 octane on the street I run 18 PSI and 110 octane I run 25 PSI at the drags.
With stock injectors keep the boost under 16 PSI

I would say to keep the boost about 15 psi max on stock injectors. Before I installed my upgraded fuel system I logged 107% duty cycle with the stock injectors with my dsmlink at about 15.5 psi.

After you get the fuel system taken care of, don't go uping the boost too much as your stock smic won't be able to keep up. In hot weather even my upgraded HRC smic has trouble on a 1st through 4th pull @ 19 psi, sometimes getting a couple degrees of knock.

Best advice would be to get a logger to see exactly how much boost you can run safely.

with my 16g and stock injectors and stock sidemount i still get a little knock @ 11-12 psi. I keep it at around 10 just to be safe. Or at least till i get my 650s injectors installed. :D

wow...thanks for the replies. Well this thursday i am putting my car on the dyno to check see how my A/F ratio and everything is holding up. I'll let you guys know.

and the whole intercooler thing is all new news to me. I am no expert but i didn't think that i would be needing a FMIC this soon. I have been just recently hearing about how i should get a front mount.

i run about 18-19 psi w/ my sidemount, i heatsoak after a few hard pulls to fourth gear, recieve a few counts of knock, and do it all with 94 octane. my buddy runss 17 daily driving, and a fmic on 94 octane, and on 110 bumps it up to 25. this all being done by having a logger, safc, and bigger injectors, i.e. 550's or larger, and a fpr. hopefully that gives you a idea, if not sorry. pm if this doesnt help, i can give you more info if needed.
