ok when i got my eclipse the guy who i bought it from put in a boost guage and it is hooked up the the hose that goes to fuel pressure regulator at hte end of the fuel rail. is that the right place for it??? :hmm:

Also he bought a mbc for it and he thinks it was installed wrong. he said that was the reason it jumped timing and bent the valves. where is the right place to hook up the mbc. i have no idea what kind it is and neither does he. Its a small golden one with two lines and the top has two knobs one to set the boost pressure and the other to lock it so that it wont unfasten. i would post a pic but i dont have a digital camera.

any help would be appreciated thanks

fuel pressure regulator or the fuel pressure solenoid? if it's the FPS then it is correct, you can also hook it up to the "P" line going to the throttle body, as for the mbc,you can hook it right up to a nipple on either the Jpipe, a nipple on the intercooler pipe, or right off the nipple on the turbo itself (if it has one) and the other goes to the wastegate. Thats if its a ball and spring, if it's a bleeder (or "T") style use this

here is a link for ball & spring type
