what kind of mounting bracket for a double din pioneer to go in a 2g eclipse

Hey guys,

What kind of mounting bracket should I get so that I can mount my pioneer double din into my 98 gs?

The factory brackets should be sufficient for any stereo. However if they don't, and you can't find any, a custom made bracket may be needed for fitment.

hmmm... I like the setup but does not really help me figure out how to set it up. I'm going to have to figure it out

The screw holes in the stock bracket that hold on the single din stereo and the storage pocket will most likely bolt straight up to a double din with nod modification.

If your factory stereo was a double din, unscrew the factory mounts and screw them on your new stereo. Should be mount holes on the sides, that's all I did and it works great
