Cornwall,
In the picture below, I presume it is the vaccuum line from the fuel tank. It then T's off after a solenoid...in wanting to clean-up the already crammed up engine bay can I cap or reduce this line?

I had the link to the voodoo vaccuum elimination but lost it, I think it showed it on there but can't remember.

Its for the evap system. I removed the canaster and all that. I left the vent line from the gas tank open. I would not plug the vent line. Too much pressure in the gas tank is never a good thing. Vapor lock or the gas cap flying across the gas station when you take it off to fill up. I had mine that way for 2 years with no problems, but got a fuel cell now.

I def wouldnt cap it, in case of some reason you get an insane build up of pressure. I wouldnt really leave it just open either. Think about it, theres fumes just coming out of that line inside the hot engine bay. Plus any kind of debris gets in there, it has an open route to your gas tank. Oh and not to mention, you will probably throw a code for EVAP saying theres a pressure problem either way.

You want to clean it up? Move it to the passenger side fender well like Im doing. All you need to do is extend that small vac line to anywhere you put the canister. Fab up a couple brackets to make it secure and youre good to go.

Youll pass all emissions and itll be cleaned up.

Just my .02!

I capped the line off the firewall initially, then my car bogged at WOT from the pressure I'm assuming. So I instead put a hose on it routed to the bottom of the car, problem solved.
