Other than make a very large turbo fit...(the only reason I can think of.. could be wrong). What is the purpose of this?

The DSM crowd never fails to amaze w/ their comments to custom parts. Pics can be posted of some of the sweetest fabrication and they'll get replies of "why'd you do that?", whats the purpose?".
...Do some reading on long runner headers, you'll find some interesting information, then come back and comment, rather than "whats the point of this?".

The reason I asked, is because I really want to know. Everything I know today, is a result of asking someone else, or being told. I understand that it had a purpose (why would it have been made without one?), I just wanted to know what it was, to increase my own knowledge base. I completely support innovative designing, which was one of the purposes of my asking. If there's something out there I haven't seen, that works better than what I have, and I know why, I'll get it

I highly doubt anyone who has posted in this thread thus far thought that this was an inferior design, and I truly believe that everyone wanted to know just as much as I did why a manifold would be created in that manner. I asked, because I wanted to know if it would work for my intents and purposes. I don't see why asking "why'd you do that? what's the purpose?" is bad? Is it not ok for me to ask what something does? I know I wouldn't even be in the DSM world, much less the car world, if I didn't start off by asking "what is the purpose of K&N air filter? why did you put it on there?". I wouldn't put something on my car, if I didn't know what it did.

P.S. That does look REALLY cool though, and now that I know what it does I feel much better. You know the saying, you learn somethign new every day.
