What is the oil pressure should be in bar at idle?

Actually I don't have the OEM oil pressure gauge in my Mitsubishi Colt GTI 1993 hutch back, I have Defi oil pressure, when it's cold it reachs like 3 bar then getting down to like 1/2 bar and maybe less than 1/2 bar and at WOT it reachs less than 4.0 bar, something like 3.8 bar, does this sound normal?

Do I have to replace my oil pump?
I don't have lifter sound and I don't know what are the values should be at idle and WOT, I'm affraid to get bearing failier because of worn OIL PUMP the same happen to my Eclipse!

I have no banace shaft and my car is 2.32 liter stoker just replaced everything and I've finished the 1000 km/h which was the breakin, it has exactly the same stuff as my Eclipse and will get it into drag by April

It's not a new oil pump because the new one I used for my Eclipse, I got it from an old engine

Can anyone tell me what is the values should be, I get like 1/4 in my Eclipse at idle and like 3/4 level of oil pressure at WOT I can't tell what is that in bar so I compair between the Colt and my 97 Eclipse.

Please get me an answer before I get bearing failer because of ####ing Mitsubishi pump

here is what I get for oil pressure

cold idle 75 psi = 5.17 bar about

warm idle 25 psi = 1.7 bar about

warm wot 75-100psi. 5.17 to about 6.8 bar

now to figure out bar 14.5 or so equals 1 bar. quick math and there you go, all my numbers come come new autometer electric gauges which seem to be accurate.

This is what I was looking for I'm getting low numbers does putting the sensor on the head insted of the oil filter drop the numbers?

Because I open my oil pump and it seems fine not freezing but I asked my mechanic to replace it with new one I'll check for the numbers you just listed.

If the numbers weren't the same then I guess my gauge read low because it's in the head not out from the oil filter

all my readings were taken from the oil filter housing, and yes the numbers will be lower at he head for sure.

I wouldnt be worryed so much about the Idle oil pressure. Its the oil pressure you have at 7000 rpm. I like to see 75- 90 psi at 7500. I have around 13 psi at 800 rpm Idle hot with the oil presssure sensor at the stock location.
