I call it a main bearing Cradle, but Caps doesn't have it listed as a separate part from the block assembly. So I dont know what its "officially" called.

Like snowborder said, its called the main girdle, officially.

Yup it is the main girdle, some will also call it the main bearing cap but the official mitsubishi name is main girdle. Hope thats not for the crank im buying, it looks like it spun bearings.

It is for that crank, but is don't have any spun bearing. I'll PM you some pics of the crank later on. The bearings are actually almost new. The were replaced 8months ago and had around 65-70k put on them. The picture above was affected by the flash and is also missing a bearing or two in the pic.
