If someone can pls help me out on this.

I have a 94 Talon wit the crappy 1.8L. What I want to do is do a sway to a 2.0 NT. I am gonna get a complete motor from the pic a part yard for $250 (pretty good deal i figure) and tear it down in my garage and rebuild wit a few performance mods. I was gonna do cam shaft, maybe 660cc injectors, high flow fuel rail, intake, throttlebody, maybe titanium valves and such, header, and either a 2.5 or 3 in cat back exhaust wit a high flow cat.

Well what I am un sure of is exactly what all I need to do the swap. Most everything I can get from the pic a part for lil to nothing. I know I'll need the motor ofcourse, and I know Ill need the ecu and wireharness. I believe I can use my tranny(6bolt I believe) but unsure if I'll need new fly wheel and clutch. I also believe I'll need the top motor mount.

Can sum one please tell me a complete parts list of everything I'll need to be able to do these swap. I know that many of you out here have done the 1.8 to 2.0 swap so I am looking for ya'lls guidiance to make sure I get everything I'm going to need to do this. I am going to drive on my 1.8 in mean time so I dont have to worry bout getting it done within days or anything.

Any and All info and input will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

If you are going to do all that you might as well go turbo, use the search tab as there are many post about this already.

Well I'm not sure if I really wanna go turbo. I think I might wanna just stay NT. I dont really want it for racing or anything, just to be able to hold its own and be a lil quick. More less I just want my DSM to look good, and have a lil bite under the hood. But thanks for the info, I'll try to do more search on it, just havent found exactly what I am looking for yet.:thumb:

You'll notice a power increase with the 2.0n/a, but for the amount of work you'll be doing, you're going to expect more.

If you pick up the n/a 4g63 and plan to do some work, just toss in a set of turbo pistons, grab a 14b and ECU and a couple sensors off ebay and enjoy your new boosted setup :hellyeah:
