As i was doing th tear down i came across this sensor it looks like. Anyone know what it is?

Noise filter. The end with the plug goes to a harness connector, and the metallic piece on the other end must be bolted to a grounded location.

Noise filter? I've never heard of one, whats the purpose?

Yeah i figured it was connected the the wireing harness and it was bolded directly to the block.

And you say its a noise filter?? How if i my ask

It bolts to the upper right side of the intake manifold (drivers side).

It's so the welds don't blow off your intake.

Not on a 420A.
