I have replaced my valve cover gasket a few times and it is still leaking oil. The gasket on it now is new but its still leaking, I already checked all around the valve cover and the gasket is seated right but I need to figure out why this is still leaking, any ideas?

The VC could be warped or cracked.

Is it the whole gasket leaking? where do you see the oil trail?

Did you check for cracks in the valve cover itself? It could be leaking from there. As well did you torque the bolts to the correct specs?

RTV on the corners and half moons should fix the problem unless the cover itself is cracked or warped.
Could even be your oil cap seal.

Just note - With Leaking valve covers, be sure that you're applying the correct torque on the bolts. Don't overdo it or you'll strip them. This leads to leaking. A very thin, film-like, layer of RTV around the flat surface of the gasket or on the lip of the head itself will help prevent any leaks where you do have stripped bolt holes. Do NOT glob RTV around. As stated - very thin.

the cam seals are new they were leaking before and I know they arent leaking anymore but I think the bolts are stripped because I tried to tighten them and they tighten and then they skip and theyre loose again. If thats not the problem (which Im guessing it is) then the VC is probably warped, I know it doesnt have any cracks in it. If the bolts are effed what should I do just get a whole new VC?

Yessir, you have stripped bolt holes. Time to helicoil.

This happened to me once and i just cut new threads with a die. Worked pretty good. I never had any leaks because I knew right away when I stripped the threads. I re-did the threads and never leaked.
